Locate the ZIP file on your computer and unzip it.

Go to chrome://extensions/
and check the box for Developer mode in the top right.

Click the Load unpacked extension button and select the unzipped folder for your extension to install it.

Open chrome://flags in a new chrome tab.
Step 6
Search for "manifest".
Step 7
You would see the option for Allow legacy extension manifest versions. Click on "enable" instead of default or disabled.
